  1. That looks like so much! I look forward to when my daughter is old enough to go on a trip like that together. It looks so awesome.

  2. Yes! As I was following you on IG all week, I was really thinking how badly I wanted to cruise to the Caribbean (I’ve cruised to Bermuda-wow). I was thinking you should work on commission!: “look, I convinced 5 families to go on a cruise! That earns me a free one!” πŸ˜€

However, I don’t really know about the empty chair pictures…surely that never happens unless the boat is docked, huh?

    1. @Emily, I loved the Eastern Caribbean, the West is lovely too, but the East just seemed more postcard-ish.
My talent on cruises is to get on an opposite schedule as everyone else so I have the ship basically to myself. (Up early, nap in the afternoon. Works like a charm.)

  3. We’ve done 3 Disney cruises in the last 2 years. We have a 2.5 year old and another one due soon and those cruises have been the most relaxing vacations we’ve taken with our kid so I’m a little afraid of trying another line that isn’t quite so baby/toddler friendly but looking forward to something like Carnival when the kids are all over 3 (I think that’s when their kids club starts).

  4. Um, yes! But not until my girls are as old as Addie. πŸ˜‰ Did that at Christmas, wasn’t so great, saw a lot of the inside of my stateroom… πŸ˜‰

  5. i did my first cruise at 16. my second at 20. I have always done cruises with my parents. Italy, greece, croatia and turkey and then alaska/canada. I’d love to see the bahamas… although my next one will probably spain based.. WHICH ISN’T BAD

  6. I love these pics. The first pic of Addie asleep had me wondering what was on her head. Then I blinked and realised it was a lamp!

My hubby and I are considering a cruise next year for our 25th wedding anniversary (didn’t think I’d been married that long – I’m sure I’m only 28!).

  7. Yes, following your adventures through photos did make me want to book a cruise. The incredible part is that I HATE cruises. I have only been on one, but it felt like a floating mall. Seeing the same people over and over, everyone high-fiving the belly flop champion and eating at a 24 hour food court. Blah.
After following along with you, I think maybe I was on the wrong boat! Yours looked much nicer and more fun. My kids are Vivi’s age (& below). Do you think she (& you) would have enjoyed it too? I won’t say “liked it as much” because there is no way a toddler is as much fun as Addie. I am convinced! Thanks for sharing your adventure. : )

  8. actually no. seeing ALL those deck chairs? *shudder* I don’t do crowds. And that looked VERY crowded. ugh.

But I’m glad you had such a nice time. I just don’t like people. Pay no attention to me.

  9. It looks like you had a great time. I’m thinking of booking a Disney cruise, but will probably wait for G to get a little older. Happy 1st day of school!
