I watched this:
Then I looked back at these:
Then I did the ugly cry because I KEPT WATCHING IT.
But I do have to wonder if those Olympic moms ever had to tell their kids not to stick toys in their baby sister’s butt cheeks when they were in the bathtub together.
P&G left that part out.

Oh! That last picture is so cute! I have been trying to get one of my baby, but I can’t catch him in the action in the right setting or light…ugh!
I was a gymnast too…though not nearly good enough to be on a team!
She is a beautiful young lady!

@Bea_OT, If it helps, I have my camera within arms reach of me ALL THE TIME and even that one was hard to get and a super lucky catch.

I have watched that commercial over and over again too and cry EVERY time. I absolutely adore your blog, your photographs and your girls are absolutely gorgeous. Not to mention that you made me laugh. And yes, you make me cry sometimes too. (in a good way). Thank you for being so real. : )

Wow, that video, is awesome! Being a gymnastics momma too – I balled my eyes out! Addie is looking good! Is she doing any competing yet? My daughter Alyssa just finished up level 5… It’s A LOT of commitment, but she would have it no other way!

@sherry lane, No competing yet, but she did just move up a level so SOON.

OOF. When that girl fell off the beam in practice in that commercial? OH I KNOW THAT FEELING, sucking in your breath thinking, “Shake it off and get back on that beam, girly.” Sigh.
Being a gymnastics mom is pretty awesome. But those hold-your-breath moments… Oy.

LOVED THIS!!! I didnt listen to the video because Im at work and just because of that hug at the end, i had tears. My daughter also does gymnastics and I am the only one who goes with her to watch. Addie is so beautiful, she remindes me of my daughter, curly hair and all. This just reminds me that I need to bring my camera more often and take more photos.
I love your blog, your photos, and your beautiful little girls!!

Wow! That made me cry, but most stuff about moms and kids makes me cry! My kids and husband make fun of me for crying at “silly” stuff all the time! They don’t get it…yet!

@Amanda, I’ve learned to hide it from my family, or leave the room. They’re the soul-less drones as far as I’m concerned.

First of all… Addie looks brilliant! That looks like balance beam perfection.
Second… Why doesn’t anyone tell you that sisters will be SO obsessed with each other’s butts??????? I wasn’t prepared for as much butt talk as we’ve got in this house.

I know folks at the ad agency responsible for that beautiful ad. Before they released it, it was already known around the office as “the ad that makes everyone cry.” Gets me every. single. time.
