  1. My first daughter was born at 8:04 p.m. and at 8:15 p.m. I called my sister. She was astounded that I was calling her so soon after giving birth. (From her perspective, recovery was a “witch” because all four of her kids were born by c-section.) From my perspective, they let me hold the baby, then took her off to the side to weigh, measure and clean up. I had nothing else to do, so I called my sister to share my news.

Here’s hoping your labor will be easy, the recovery gentle, and a healthy baby as the final result.

  9. Congrats on becoming a family of 4. So happy for your new addition!! Hoping your recovery is smooth and uneventful.

I’d like to say that I won our race since our son was born April 29, but I kinda cheated and had to have a c-section so lets call it a tie and celebrate a win win for both of us.

Enjoy your little bundle of joy!
