Blissdom 2010 Day 2

I know I forgot people. Please don’t take it personally.

My head is up in the clouds with happiness from this last weekend at Blissdom.

I love these women. LOVE. @mommystory @iveyleaguemama

I want you to tell me who is what to you.

Leave me comment saying “I strive to be as ______ as _______” and leave a link to their blog or twitter.

Why would you want to do this?

Because it’s nice.

And because I will pick one person to win this…

custom Lisa Leonard necklace, given to the speakers of Blissdom 2010.

A very rare Lisa Leonard necklace. Rare because only the speakers at Blissdom 2010 were given them.

Why am I giving it away? Because. That’s why.

I’ll pick a winner Wednesday, February 10 at Midnight EST.

  1. First of all, wonderful pictures Casey, as always! Glad you had a fabulous time.

I know I have made mistakes in the past (we all have), but in 2010, I have been striving to be as genuine as possible. I have held my tongue many many many times. 😀

I strive to be as genuine as Lotus

I think she is truly sweet, amazing, and I love her to bits.

  2. I strive to be as strong as mamaspohr.

I know it seems like an “easy” answer, but to me she is the epitome of strength. Her love for both Maddie and Annie sets her apart from so many people in this world.

I do not know her personally, but I do admire her and her beautiful family.

  3. Oh, I strive to be like so many people in so many ways. Today in particular, though, I am striving to be as sincerely sweet as my blogging friend Katie from http://marriageconfessions.com/

(I also strive for my unborn children to be as precious as her little bean!)

Thanks for hosting the giveaway. I’m glad you had fun.

After a miscarriage and failed IVF, there is no poker face here. Yet she still acknowledges and trusts her gracious Lord. She tells Him her pain and anger, as well as her happiness.

  15. First thought –

I want to be as unflinchingly honest and transparent as Casey. But some might think I’m kissin’ up. (I’m not)

    Second thought –

How could I ever, ever choose ONE?

Most consistently when I read Amber’s words (http://therunamuck.com/, I wish I were as gifted and effortless with words as she is.

But truly, I could fill pages with “I strive to be as _______ as ___________.”

Really, I could play this game all day. The best part of Blissdom is realizing that the friends on the other side of the screen are even better, more fun, funnier and MORE than you think they are.
Loved every minute and it was great to meet you.
