Vacashawha?

I can’t stand it when people rub their vacations in your face.

We leave for Disneyworld in about 17 hours.

This is our first real family vacation ever.

So I’m going to do a little rubbing.

It’s such a big deal I’m making tiny grandma, grandpa poopsie and my sissy go with us.

None of us have ever been to Disneyworld.

We’re set up in a condo and I’m not quite sure about the internet, but I do know about priorities.

Grandpa poopsie hasn’t seen the moosh in over two years.

It’s been over a year for tiny grandma.

Cody hasn’t been with the moosh for an entire week since she was born.

tiny grandma, the moosh and grandpa poopsie have a lunch date set with all the princesses.

We’ll all be attending Mickey’s Halloween Party (the moosh will be Tinkerbell.)

I have my phone set up to twitter any Cinderella sightings. (Are you following me?)

I also have my phone set up to post pictures in my sidebar.

I’ll be setting up a few archives to post while I’m gone.

I’m on vacation with my family.

Email and everything else can wait.

  8. How fun! As a Southern native, we grew up going to Disney multiple times a year–you (and the Moosh and Cody) are gonna love it!

    We’re also leaving on vacay tomorrow! To Central America, woot woot! Don’t you feel a bit odd vacationing with the world is crumbling as we speak? It’s an odd feeling, yes.

    And do the fireworks. A mid-day nap for the moosh and you guys guys is really smart too- we wnet back to the hotel for about 2 hours in the afternoon just for a break. Because you can’t miss the fireworks. They are amazing.

  27. Have fun at WDW. At Magic…start in the area where Dumbo, It’s a Small World, Etc are. It makes the day much faster because all of those rides have long lines later in the day! Have some yummy ice cream in a waffle bowl with hot fudge during the parade and fireworks. You’ll absolutely love it. Also skip the characters at the front of the park. The lines are too long. Go to Mickey’s Toontown fair. They have lines you can wait in and get several characters all at once. There’s even a line for all the princesses!!

  32. I just have to say that Disneyworld is about my most favorite place on earth. I wish that I was coming with. I know that you guys are going to have the best time ever! I am soooooo jealous that the moosh gets to have lunch with the princesses. A word of advice….everytime I’ve ever been (and its probably more times than I can count) kid melt down time is around 3 pm (almost every kid you see in the park at that time aged 5 and under is usually in a stroller crying) so beware of that and also lines to rides are very short during parades. Also, the fast pass is the most blessed invention. Make use of it as much as possible :o)

  35. Have an absolutely wonderful vacation! My husband and I went to Disneyworld last year (this time exactly) for our anniversary. Best trip ever! It really is the happiest place on earth.

  36. Oooh! Have fun! Disneyworld is HUGE and so much fun! You have to check out that Alien Encounters thing (not with the Moosh though, unless she doesn’t get scared too easily!) I personally like Disneyland more (it’s just so classic,you know?) but who doesn’t love Florida and the white sandy beaches and anything Disney? Have fun Moosh family! Can’t wait to see pictures!

  41. I hope you have fun on your vacation.

    I do find it remarkable that you somehow find money to go to Disney World, buy $100 purses, and have $60 Brazilian waxes when you’re living off student loans and accepting government assistance. You do so well for allegedly being so poor. You should give tips on money managing!
