I want to tell you about the drug store employee that pulled a power trip on me.

I want to tell you how I almost caused the population of Hoosier hummingbirds to go extinct.

I want to tell you about Nigel Barker in a wetsuit asking if you’re ready to get wet.

I want to tell you about the love letter my husband wrote me.

I want to tell you about our family trip to Disneyworld in two weeks.

I want to tell you that I thought I was pregnant. And then I thought I wasn’t. And then I thought I was.

I want to tell you that I really wanted to be pregnant. But not really. But maybe, just not now.

Meh.

Anyway. It’s been a long time since I’ve asked you guys what the best thing was that happened to you in the last week. Anything. Naps, shiny hair, baby laughs, pregnancies, return of a favorite show? Lay it on me. And let me know if you want to know more about any of that other stuff up there.

It’s one of my favorite things about my blog. What makes you happy.

  3. Finding a preschool for my seriously suffering from terrible twos two and a half year old son. I love him dearly, he’s awesome, but I’ve been sick for a long time and I need to be able to rest and still like him at the end of the day. This gives me that and I’ve even mostly gotten over the “failure of a mom” feeling. That may not seem like a happy but it totally is.

    That and my other kid is writing letters, not all but some, and that is awesome!

    (I’d love to hear about the idiot at the store)

  6. The beautiful sunshine and that brillant blue sky we’ve been having for the last week. While part of me wants the cool, fall weather…our A/C is off, we’re still wearing shorts and it’s beautiful outside! I’m just enjoying the nice days while I can.

  14. A very-little-notice business trip was sprung on me at work. How is this good, you ask? Well, it take me a mere 15 miles from my sister, whom I haven’t seen in almost TWO YEARS!! Free trip to see family members? Sign me up. 🙂

  16. I want to hear about the drug store employee and the love letter.

    I’ve had kind of a rough last few weeks, but this week has been sunny almost every day! And nine days ago I got to hold a very new lamb! AND, AND!!! I totally rocked a computer skills test that I took at a temp agency yesterday. (Thanks for making me think of the good things that have happened lately. It reminded me that, hey! My life isn’t as bad as I might think it is sometimes!)

  19. The best thing that happened to me this week was one of my first graders said “You tell us you’re the meanest teacher at school, but you’re really the nicest!” Then the rest of the class agreed. It made my day.

    I want to hear about everything. I also want to know how you deal with the pregnant/not pregnant/ not sure if you really even want to be pregnant right now feelings. We’re getting ready to start trying all over again… I’m just not sure I’m ready for the roller coaster, so any advice or sharing is greatly appreciated!

  20. I want to hear about the hummingbirds.

    The best thing that happened to me this week was going to the first meeting of the photography class I’m taking (which I’ve been agonizing about for weeks).

    I was neither the youngest nor the oldest, neither the dumbest nor the smartest, neither the novice nor the expert. I was simply able to show up and learn. Go figure.

  22. My good friend and I took turns playing “chase two year old boys around the mall” so we could each try on fabulous shoes.
    AND, I love that my husband has to call me when his day doesn’t go so well just because he needs to hear my voice.
    I want to hear about your love letter.
    Seriously, great husbands leave us notes when we really need it no?
    They’re even better when we think we don’t.

    Best part of my week, getting to hold a brand new baby this afternoon! I got to hold him even earlier than I got to hold my own son!

  32. I think all of those stories sound good (well, maybe not the wetsuit guy, but the rest for sure).

    Honestly? This week has been stressful and anxiety ridden. My wife is scheduled for her this Wed, and my daughter innately knows something is afoot and has regressed into a whiny, tantrum throwing machine.

    But NEXT WEEK, I’ll have happy news.

  35. I got a little jealous this week when I found out my hair dresser is pregnant…and my daughter only just got her first tooth yesterday! I too then thought I was pregnant, then thought I wasn’t, and then thought I was again. I’m not. I don’t think. But I want to be. Just not right now 🙂

  41. I want to hear about all of it, because I’m demanding like that.

    My week was stinky. I was so close to getting a new job…had a second callback interview, met the big bosses, and then BAM, they decided to make the job part time and went with someone else. :o(

    This was the first job I’d actually interviewed for that I really wanted!

    So, I’m rejected and devastated and still job searching…

  44. I’ve been trying really hard to work on my blog and get more people reading and commenting, and the other day I had something like 75 people view it. That might sound silly, but it meant a lot to me.

    Have fun in Disney World! I love that place…

    I totally agree with JENN! about Jim and Pam getting engaged. I almost cried. Just like scene when they kissed for the the first time on Casino Night…

  45. It’s been a good week. My older son turned four. I went to the Little Big Town – Carrie Underwood concert. Oh, and Nigel was very yummy.

    And I was also excited about Pam & Jim getting engaged on The Office. My husband had to shush me since the kids were asleep and I was squealing.

  47. Mine is a tie.

    I had my OB check up Tuesday and everything is perfect! Baby is perfectly healthy! YAY!! I am almost 27 weeks! My 3rd trimester starts in a few days!

    Also Survivor came back on last night!!! I am so hooked on that show!!

    I want to hear more about everything that you teased us with!!!
