My daughter did the same thing when she started ballet last year. She chose a black leotard and a purple velvet leotard. All the other girls are always arrayed in pink from head to toe. I love the uniqueness!
Adore that kid and her precious tummy and knees. She reminds me of princess when she was little. I adore her black garb. Such a standout individual! love it.

pooka’s dance school would pitch a fit if she showed up ‘out of uniform’. i think they’re even told which brand to buy, but i wouldn’t know, granny handles that schtick.
