  1. It has been a joy watching Jessie grow up from tiny dancer to not so tiny dancer. I still watch her first recital occasionally. I’m a big wuss – I know how it ends and I still cry.

  2. Too cute! She’s got the cutest little legs (and I’d say bum but that sounds a little freaky so I’ll stick with legs). I want Hailey to be a dancer when she grows up, but it’s not in her genes. Here’s hoping for a miracle.

  3. Oh my word. The moosh is the cutest thing to ever don a tutu. I’m SURE of it. She ‘s so darling I almost can’t stand it. It’s like when I see a really cute cat and I have the urge to pet it REALLY hard. (You know what I mean, right? RIGHT?) That’s how cute she is.

  4. I’d always planned to sign my kids of up ballet, but then I had two boys, and I don’t think they’d appreciate that. (yes, I know, boys can be ballet dancers too, but not here in Texas.)

My MIL actually signed my hubby up for ballet lessons when he was little. He is still traumatized to this day…

  5. The only place I ever attempted ballet was my own driveway. I doubt the audience was impressed but it was as close as I was going to get.

I hope that someday I see Moosh in the Nutcracker someday.

  6. oh so precious! I loved being in ballet and wanted to dance forever. Unfortunately I definitely don’t have what you would call a “ballet body”. Suck that.
I’ve got some great stories about crazy things that happened at recitals though! We even got my brother in a bumblebee costume… he’s yet to live it down!
