So the lovely Jenny over at Absolutely Bananas has started a monthly segment on real beauty tips from regular old mamas like myself. AND WHOO DO I HAVE A DOOZY FOR YOU. (with before and after pictures!)
Introducing CARGO One Base. A Concealer that blends out like a foundation.
AND THEY’RE NOT EVEN KIDDING.
Take me freshly bathed.
Scary right? I have hundreds of little red capillaries busted up all over my face from nine months of vomiting while pregnant. My dream has always been to find something out there that covers these little buggers in one step and leaves me mostly make up free. Concealer was always to obvious so I’d have to balance it out with foundation and always ended up looking a little Tammy Faye.
Enter One Base. (cue chorus of ANGELS.)
That is all I have on my face. Honestly! It takes me two minutes. No brushes, no sponges, no intense blending. I could leave the house like this and feel human. Amazing. If I’m feeling really dedicated? Mascara, lip gloss…TA DA!

Absolutely fabulous! And you, you are just too cute!! I don’t wear make-up much, who has the time? But I can’t live without my Voluminous Water Proof mascara. That’s my beauty must have. I have freckles galore (think Campbell’s soup kid and you’ve got me) This stuff looks like something I’m going to have to check out! Thanks for the tip!

we used to have a place here in Ottawa where we could buy Cargo, but it’s gone now. but i’m really gonna have to get this stuff…i also have those pesky pregnancy-vomitting-induced busted capillaries, and i don’ like ‘me!

Nice. But honestly, I thought the before picture was the after picture, until I scrolled down.
I started using Smashbox Primer and it does the same thing. Been meaning to blog about it, maybe I will now.
