  1. Ah, the kitty in the picture 6th to the last is the sister of my little Bucket cat. I’m glad that little Audrey is still alive. 🙂

      1. It must run in the family, because Bucket does NOT like anyone outside of the family. She usually tries to rub up to people and hisses and tries to bite them when they attempt to touch her. All the deacons in our old ward knew to steer clear of her…

  2. I wouldn’t give a crap about 365 if I could take even 1 of the ones you have up there. 365 crappy ones don’t hold a candle to 135 fantastic ones. There is no fail here.

      1. @Casey, Haha that IS super awkward. When Scott and I got married this spring, we were the polar opposite: Our photog kept asking us to kiss and hold hands and I was way too embarrassed to do so! Not one for PDAs so much.

  3. This post has made me feel MILES better about my own failed 365 project. Not that my pictures are anywhere near this good, but still.

    And. The reflection shot? Genius.

By the way, I had to type and retype the word ‘genius’ no less than 6 times to get it right. Clearly that’s not a word I would use for myself at the moment.

  4. The only thing I think I could successfully commit to for 365 days is eating. Or sleeping. 🙂
Lovely, lovely pictures, dear Casey! I’m awfully glad you like to take pictures because you sure are good at it.

  5. All of the pictures are lovely! I like that sweet baby girl…very lovely picture. Also, I remember you being a big dyson fan…are you still as impressed with your dyson now as you were when you first got it? I’m thinking about making the investment. I take cleaning very seriously.
    Thanks!

  6. These are all amazing, but that second shot… oh my, those eyes! Breathtaking!

I love the affect of the water reflection of the kissing couple, wonderful framing on that shot.

    FABULOUS
I love and have always LOVED your photos.

Just always remember that you may be happy taking them, but you also make people looking at them happy too.

  8. I just wrapped my 365 (and started again) – and the thing for people intimidated by the process is this: Not every shot has to be a perfect shot. I know I have some REAL DUDS in my collection. I’m not a pro. But, i managed to take a handful that I’m very proud of — and even better than that – to watch your year unfold in pictures is an amazing experience.

Remind me again, though – what is that SUPAH-AWESOME lens you said was so fab? I got a lens I was hoping to be like my 50 with more flexibility and frankly? I don’t love it.
